Today's sermon was a peripatetic (wandering) meditation encouraging our members to seriously consider the theological and liturgical implications of the changes we are considering for our sanctuary. When exploring possible changes in the placement of the cross, pulpit, baptismal font and the chancel table or altar, the possible symbolic responses to these changes need to be considered.
