The Wider Church
CCC Delegates to the Potomac Association ...
CCC has several delegates to the Potomac Association, a group of twenty-six UCC churches from D.C., Maryland and Virginia. The Association's purpose is to advance the mission of Christ within the world and to serve as the ecclesiastical council for the ordination and installation of clergy. The Association meets several times a year, debates and adopts positions on public policy and links members through issues-oriented committees and task forces. It is an excellent way to learn and work on common problems with members of other UCC churches. Duties can be shared.
