2008-2009 STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN

This year’s annual Stewardship Goal is for everyone to pledge 4% of their annual income. Annual pledging allows the Trustees to plan and budget the Church’s operating and capital expenses.

CCC’s challenge is to increase annual pledging to the Unified Budget from $641,000 to $800,000 so we are able to move forward towards our Strategic Goals adopted in 2007.

You’ve Got Mail. Unified Budget information will be mailed out mid-March and Pledge Cards will be mailed out the last week of March. Both Unified Budget information and Pledge Cards can be found on-line at www.christ-ucc.org, look for the link on the home page.

Mark your calendars! Consecration Sunday will be on April 6, 2008.
Please bring your pledge cards to the church service and then enjoy the celebration party in the social hall directly after the service.

• For 2007-2008 we have 213 pledging units which have pledged a total $642,748.
  • 14% or 29 pledging units contribute 50% of the budget
  • 50% of pledging units contribute 17% of the budget
  • 44% of the pledging units contribute 53% of the budget and they have pledged for 17 years in a row.
  • 75% of the pledging units are new members (1-5 yrs) or long term members (15-17 years).

• Over 200 members serve in leadership positions:
  • 16 officers
  • 7 boards – 98 members

• Over 40+ different local organizations use the Church on annual basis to hold meetings and classes.
• CCC is Five For Five Church with the UCC’s annual offerings.
