The
purpose of this workshop was:

to
provide experience and a theory that enables participants to
function in groups in which creativity, equity, and diversity
are fully valued,

to
understand flat, egalitarian structures, where partnership,
cooperation, and valuing the resources of all are an important
part of our expectations for groups,
-
to
gain greater understanding of the journeys of race and culture
as paths to valuing diversity
