Text Box: New Music Director

Text Box: CCC has hired a new Music Director and his name is Nae Pearson. Nae has studied voice, piano, organ and choral conducting.  He has a Master of Divinity from the Wesley Theological Seminary; a Master's of Liturgical Music/Specialty in Choral Conducting from the Catholic University of America; and a Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. Nae has many years of experience in serving churches, most recently as Director of Music/Organist at Millian Memorial United Methodist Church in Rockville. He has extensive experience working with all age groups. Nae will start with CCC on July 16, 2006. Please extend a warm welcome to Nae Pearson as he joins the CCC community. Nae was selected by a CCC Search Committee after a very competitive, lengthy and intense nation-wide search. The committee evaluated 29 candidates, interviewed 13 strong candidates and auditioned 3 excellent finalists.
