Report of Activities of the CCC Anti-Racism Initiative
November 2003 - May 2004

The Anti-Racism Audit  - (includes questions for audit)

Summer - Form Six Teams to Conduct Anti-Racism Audit

1) Worship and Celebration, 2) Education, 3) Fellowship and Outreach, 4) Community and Business Relationships, 5) Policies and Procedures/Nominations, 6) Training/Call Process/Staff

Audit teams would consist of five or six persons including a person of color, a member of the Executive Council, a member from the appropriate board or committee, and a person who had attended the Anti-Racism Workshop. Staff would serve on groups 1, 2, 3, and 6.

Late Summer or Early September - Train Teams [The date has been set for Wednesday, 22 September, from 7 - 9:30 PM in the Meeting Room; the CAC Anti-Racism Task Force will provide the training.]

September/October - Conduct Audit

Early November - Report to Executive Council, Boards and Others Interested

November/December - Decide Next Steps with Anti-Racism Guidance Committee
